Food is a wonderful thing to be savoured and shared. Getting children to make healthy choices can be difficult at times. Our challenge: create a series of recipes that integrate fruits, vegetables, and protein into appealing culinary masterpieces that are kid-approved. Then, self-publish a cookbook so that other families can benefit from our adventure. Welcome to our journey!

Conquering Broccoli!
(Olivia Post)
My kid won't touch broccoli. Which may seem normal for a two and a half year old. He won't touch a lot of fresh food however. Fruits and veggies just happily pass him by. My goal is to offer him these items in a way he might accept without deceiving him.
Today, I managed to offer him broccoli in a form that he was happy to accept. I took a beloved muffin recipe and integrated cheese and broccoli. They didn't turn out green and they taste terrific. I had to wait all day for my darling to try it. He did and he even loved it!
Yay for broccoli muffins!
